Wendy’s journey with St. David’s

15 April 2024 | Uncategorised

As we bid farewell to a remarkable chapter in our services history, it is with mixed emotions that we note the retirement of our esteemed Chief Executive Officer, Wendy Keidan.

Wendy’s journey with St. David’s has been nothing short of extraordinary, and her impact on our community is immeasurable.

Wendy joined our family in 2015 as the Operational Manager, quickly ascending to the role of Deputy Director.

Her leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to our mission did not go unnoticed, and in 2018, she assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer with grace and vision. Under her guidance, our service has flourished, reaching new heights and positively impacting the lives of countless individuals.

Wendy’s legacy extends beyond her title – she is not only our CEO but also the heart and soul of St. David’s. Her passion for serving others and her dedication to the well-being of our community have been the driving force behind many of our successes. As the Agency Decision Maker for prospective adopter approvals, Wendy has played a pivotal role in shaping the futures of families and children alike.

Before becoming an integral part of St. David’s, Wendy served as the Director of BAAF Cymru, showcasing her wealth of experience and deep-rooted commitment to the field. Her expertise, combined with her compassionate leadership style, has left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege of working alongside her. While we are sad to say goodbye, we also celebrate the incredible journey Wendy has led us on. Her legacy will undoubtedly endure, and we are grateful for the indomitable spirit she brought to our service.

Please join us in extending our heartfelt gratitude to Wendy Keidan for her years of dedicated service, leadership, and the positive impact she has had on the St. David’s family. We wish her a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and all the adventures she deserves.

Farewell, Wendy, and may the next chapter of your life be as fulfilling and inspiring as the one you’ve authored with us.
